All content on this site is for informative purposes only and should not be taken as fact nor absolute. The opinions expressed are that of my own. And where applicable, that of others who have given me permission to publish their views. It is not my intention to cause harm or offense through the informative and/or opinionative content on this site. If any advice, tips or techniques are used from this site, I will not be held responsible for the outcome. None of the information on borderline personality disorder or other mental health topics should be used as a substitute for any advice, treatment or diagnosis given by a medical professional.
I will not be held liable for the accuracy and/or validity of the content on this site. Information is researched from various sources, at least a few weeks before each blog post I have written is published, to ensure that the posts I write are as accurate and valid as possible. However, please be aware that the accuracy and validity of content can change over time. For example, borderline personality disorder is still being researched by medical professionals. So information given at a certain time may be accurate and valid then, but not in the future.
What I write about borderline personality disorder is not a representation of all who have the illness/disorder. Be aware of the fact that not everyone exhibits the same symptoms, and/or is at the same stage of awareness and acceptance of the illness/disorder. Also be wary that the level of control each individual has over their various emotions and behaviours, due to borderline personality disorder, does vary. The content I have written is based on my personal experience and/or from non scientific studies I have done. None of my blog posts are intended to be stereotypical and I do not expect everyone to agree with what I have written.
In many of my blog posts, I refer to those who have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder as “borderlines”. It is not my intention to create a label, it’s just shorter to write “borderline” or “borderlines”, instead of “an individual/individuals with borderline personality disorder”.
